Why We Built It

We kept seeing the same frustrations across our client projects and our own workflows:

  • Scattered file storage — Teams juggling multiple cloud drives, local folders, and email attachments with no unified view.
  • No version history — Critical changes overwritten without a trace, causing costly rework.
  • Poor collaboration — Existing tools were either too complex (built for developers) or too simple (lacking real version control).

We decided to solve the problem ourselves — building a tool that gives every team, not just engineers, the power of version control with the simplicity of a consumer-grade app.

What We Built

As both the product owners and engineering team, we had full creative and technical control:

  • Product design & UX research — Ran user interviews and designed a flow that felt intuitive from the first click. Every interaction was optimised for speed and clarity.
  • Modern web application — Built with a performant frontend and scalable backend, ensuring snappy performance even with large file repositories.
  • Version control engine — Developed a custom versioning system that tracks every change, allows branching and rollback, and presents history in a visual timeline anyone can understand.
  • Real-time collaboration — Integrated live presence indicators, comments, and notifications so teams stay in sync without switching tools.
  • Cloud infrastructure — Deployed on a multi-region cloud architecture with CDN-backed file delivery for consistently fast access worldwide.
